Lies and Damned Lies of our Federal Reserve

This is cental planning at its worst.  Review their track record:

March of 2007:  "All the signs I look at" show "'the housing market is at or near the bottom," Paulson said in a speech to a business group in New York, adding that the U.S. economy is "very healthy" and "robust."  - Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson

At about the same time last March 2007, Ben Bernanke, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, told Congress, "At this juncture, the impact on the broader economy and financial markets of the problems in the sub-prime market seems likely to be contained."

Read the whole thing:

What Banks and the Government Are Not Telling Us About 2009

These boobs are in charge of "managing" the US national economy?  This is neocons defending the undefendable: that we need a federal reserve to manage our nation's comlex economy, and that  a free market approach will not work.  More and more I am convinced a free market approach based on sound money would work much better and bring much more prosperity, protecting unethical greedy bankers and financial institutions from creating economies of mal-investment and looting (fleecing) the taxpayer for their mistakes.

How can anyone make any rational investment decisions because of the Federal Reserve meddling?  Hmm neocons?

US 100 Trillion in Debt.....Not including future Wars

This is what Richard W. Fisher, of the Dallas Federal Reserve said about our real National deficit.

"Add together the unfunded liabilities from Medicare and Social Security, and it comes to $99.2 trillion over the infinite horizon. Traditional Medicare composes about 69 percent, the new drug benefit roughly 17 percent and Social Security the remaining 14 percent."

17% of this is from our compassionate conservative, George Bush.  Thanks neo-cons.

Here is the link to read:

US Bankrupt and Insolvent

And then there is this gem as well:

"Inflation is the most insidious enemy of capitalism. No central banker can countenance it, not least the men and women of the Federal Reserve."     - Richard Fisher.

To which I respond, BaaaWaaaaHaaa.....We are without hope.

The Coming Destruction Of the US similar to Weimar Republic.

This plot tells it all for all the Federal Reserve apologists.  Those who defend the un-defendable should be ashamed of themselves.  This plot represents the federal government rip-off of the American public.  It represents the out of control spending, the massive debt build-up, and most of all, just about every financial crisis since 1913, and the present mortgage crisis.  When will conservatives ever become economically literate enough to know that if you want limited government, you have to starve the beast.

Below plot borrowed from: http://www.lewrockwell.com/sardi/sardi89.html

Update 7/25.  Many so-called conservative Townhall columnists think things are just going along just fine.  Concerns about the economy are over stated and over-hyped...e.g. Jerry Bowyer:

Here is for them (compliments of: Foreclosures Double):

Another Update: 7/31

Yet another update 8/5/08.  The following graph is scary....yes that is an unprecedented spike in 2007.  It represents the bailout of insolvent financial institutions.  Guess who is on the hook for the bill if  those financial institutions cannot repay?  Fundamentally, financial stocks will be a mess for long while, and I suspect it will have a reverse multiplier effect. Just as money that is created out of thin air by the Fed has a multiplier effect.  So, too is money that is erased from thin air have a multiplier effect.  Worse yet, we still have to endure an negative amoritization loan implosion (which is coming to a bank near you):

Source: Link to St. Louis Federal Reserve

The fact that foreclosures are still on the rise is cause for great concern.  We are approaching another round of crisis due to negative amoritization loans.  The government's solution is to delay the inevitable at taxpayer expense, using all kinds of gimmicks such as credit swaps, exchanging bad debt for US backed Treasuries .  Its time to worry the empire is indeed crumbling from within.  Even Obama the Messiah, is powerless to stop it.

Speaking of which:  This is worth a read: The Light of the World Is Pitching His Tent In Our Midst...and again we didn't know it

Death to Big Government

For all the Big government advocates out there (Both Republicans and Democrates who share devout worship of U.S. monetary policies), and for all the Republicans who love the military industrial complex....Here are some quotes that pierce the heart of the matter.

"Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other." ~ James Madison

"The government has nothing to give to anybody that it doesn't first [steal] from somebody else"  adopted from Henry Hazlitt

"Thou shalt not steal."  Exodus 20:15

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's." Exodus 20:17

1Samuel8:4ff:  " So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah. They said to him, "You are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have." But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king. As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you. Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do."

Samuel told all the words of the LORD to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, "This is what the king who will reign over you will do:

a) He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots.
b) Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots.
c) He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers.
d) He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants.
e) He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants.
f) Your menservants and maidservants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use.
g) He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves
h) When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day."

We have in this election cycle a choice between evil and evil.  No...not a lesser of evils....only pure evil.

We have a warmonger-candidate-commander-in-chief who will "take our sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses"....."assigning some to be commanders, and to make weapons of war".  He boasts of fiscal restraint but will continue a war adding to debt, costing future taxpayers trillions....for 100 years if necessary against enemies that have no countries, navies, or armies, and poorly armed and supplied armies.  He will do this and fund it by having our government print the necessary funds.

We have an anti-biblical income redistribution scheme supported by candidates who boast to be Christian, and who advocate stealing (government coercion) from Peter to pay Paul, who show absolutely no regard for Exodus chapter 20, and contempt for 1Samuel Chapter 8....  who want to increase this government theft to create another Babel, to create government health care even after every such governmental endeavor has failed, and when pressed will not end a foreign policy trend that leads to more war.

As a true conservative, one who really supports limited government as opposed to the faux conservatives who are really statists by another name, these are the changes in federal government I would like to see implemented, saving tax payers billions, and creating an environment of prosperity:

1) Eliminate the Federal Reserve System, and create a small committee who's only job is to create a stable money supply that tracks the price of Gold....which in turn does not fluctuate much.

2)  Flat income tax at a rate never to exceed 10%....a tithe to government if you will.  In fact, government should never exalt itself above God; make the Federal Income tax rate 9%.

3)  Put an end to FDIC, and create a banking system that encourages banking practices based on sound money.  Lending based only on ones ability to pay principal and interest an actual loan, rather than one that encourages maximizing profits on interest on those who cannot repay principal  (i.e. end all federal bail-outs).

4)  End all Foreign Aid, and if one lends, they must have the ability to repay.....(i.e. end all federal bail-outs).

5)  End all Wars of aggression.  Yes, this means Iraq.  Re-deploy those troops to guarding our Northern and Southern borders.

6)  Close all foreign military bases outside of the United States.

7)  End all military defense treaties (NATO, etc)

8)  End the US membership in the UN.

9)  End Social Security, and Medicaid.

10)  Abolish the NEA and make all schools, and universities private....of course this leads to the corallary, abolish property taxes, since they are unconstitutional anyway (denying true ownership of property).

Why Christians MUST support Ron Paul...A letter to a Patriot

And thanks for your service to our country.

With regards to your response on my blog, my first question would be, are you a Christian? Little point in debating these points if you don't hold the bible as the standard of truth and wisdom. My following arguments contain secular truth to them, but the better arguments is does it conform to God's Law. If not, is it against God's Law....if so.....does God punish those who transgress God's law?

One thing I would like to address is your argument about the fed. You gave no reason for keeping it. As is, the fed has created an economy based on massive debt, and to keep liquidity in the economy to keep it moving, lowering interest rates to very low rates, creating a housing bubble, sub-prime mortgages, and now to bail out these sub-prime lenders, they have to lower the rates, and drop their fiat money from the sky as though there is no free lunch. We will pay (not just in the inflationary sense, but in the depression sense)....the question is when. Rather than rehash all of the arguments, I will recommend you to this free book on line.

Gary North's Book on Honest Money

The next easy one is the department of education which you claim would be throwing out the baby with the bath water....I don't actually believe that you believe that the bureaucracy called the department of education is the "baby".

First biblically, its the *Christian* father's responsibility to teach their children, and not to hand children over to the state for indoctrination. But leaving that aside, education should be purely local, and not of any federal concern.

As AA Hodge, in 1887 wisely pointed out (far before the department of education ever existed):

"I am as sure as I am of Christ's reign that a comprehensive and centralized system of national education, separated from religion, as is now commonly proposed, will prove the most appalling enginery for the propagation of anti-Christian and atheistic unbelief, and of anti-social nihilistic ethics, individual, social and political, which this sin-rent world has ever seen."

The war issue is the most difficult for me to address because it is a weighty matter and should be taken seriously, and not flippantly. There is no doubt that Iraq has become the battleground against extremists, but there is also no doubt we are in Iraq with US troops primarily having enforced UN resolutions, which has invited Muslim extremists out for a party. I also view that it has made us safe at home for the time being.

Unfortunately, I don't believe our troops should ever be used to force UN resolutions. Nor should we ever go to war and depose a regime without declaring war on that regime. and War should be based on reasons that are verified (WMDs was a dud). For these reasons I am primarily against the war in Iraq. Our constitution should be taken seriously.

But with such a militaristic foreign policy we have made ourselves in the long run extremely vulnerable at home. Not to mention the 1.9 Trillion dollar CBO estimate, in which the Iraq war is deficit funded (printing fiat money) Biological weapons can be created more and more cheaply and easily, forest fires can be started all across the nation destroying our resources and endangering lives at enormous costs, dams can be attacked, our borders and ports are not secured. Al Qaeda cells have been and are operating in the US and will bid their time.

Our economy as stated, has left us fragile. Consumer and governmental debt and an economy based on printing money is a dangerous combination.

All of this is basically unbiblical. Debt is never encouraged by God. We should be a nation of lenders, and not borrowers. The indication that we have, in biblical parlance, become the tail and not the head means we are the slaves to the slave masters. Policing the world comes at great cost to the american at home. These costs should be considered...in lives....and economically to our nation. We are godless, we have godless economic policies.....we godless leaders are starting war based on godless reasons. Ever think that God has brought these troubles on us, and we aren't the good boy who has done God's bidding. Pause and consider how God brings prosperity on nations that are obedient. He brings curses on nations such as ours. I am supporting Ron Paul.

Why Christians Should (Must) Support Ron Paul.

This will be an on-going work.  I feel I must hasten to get something out there to support my thesis why Christians (must) should support Ron Paul for president.

God's Law is the foundation of Wisdom
         Deut 4:6, Ps 19:7  Ps119:98

What is God's position on ownership?
We are stewards of whatever God has given us, which is everthing.  God is really the owner of all.
Ps 24:1 "The earth is the LORD'S, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it."

What property God has given us (including the federal government), should be held in accordance with God's laws.  We are not free to choose and do what we want with the property God has given us.  I cannot dispose of my wife and children as I see fit.   The last 5 commandments of the decalogue both assume private property is held, and stipulates limits of what we can and cannot do with it.

1) Ron Paul is anti-eminent domain.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=53
God's laws on property applies to the government as well.    The US government actually owns all the property in the US.  If you don't believe me, don't pay your property taxes.  The personal property tax laws set up by government is theft.  The practice of eminent domain is a claim reserved only for Deity.

See all of 1Kings21

2) Ron Paul is anti-death tax.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=896
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=432
Ez 46:18 "The prince shall not take from the people's inheritance, thrusting them out of their possession; he shall give his sons inheritance from his own possession so that My people will not be scattered, anyone from his possession."'"
See also 1Sam8:14,

3) Ron Paul is anti-progressive income tax.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=199
Lev 19:15 "You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly."

4)  Ron Paul is anti-Federal Reserve
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=507
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=489
The printing of fiat money robs from the populace at large who does not have access to the new money, and benefits the printer of the money, namely the federal government.  Governments have often tried to water down their money, and is against God's Law.  Prov11:1, 20:10, 23, Is 1:22, Amos 8:5-6, Mic 6:10-12
Prov 20:10  Differing weights and differing measures,
Both of them are abominable to the LORD
Prov 20:23  Differing weights are an abomination to the LORD,
And a false scale is not good.

5)  Ron Paul is for free trade and is anti-tariff.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=100
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=244
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=866
A tariff is theft.  It steals from consumers who are forced to pay higher prices, not by choice, but by government mandate.  If those of you want to protect American Auto workers, by buying only American, that is your free choice.  Just don't vote for candidates who will mandate government theft on the rest of us.  Tariffs also lead to isolationism and war.  It subsidizes inefficiency.

6)  Ron Paul will protect free trade and fight against surrendering national sovereignty.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=412
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=100

7)  Ron Paul is pro-life
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=634

8)  Ron Paul is against federal funding of embryonic stem cell research
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=568

9)  Ron Paul is against foreign aid at taxpayer expense.
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=459
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=464

10)  Ron Paul will protect home schooling.
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/home-schooling/
Children are a gift from God and like everything else, parents are stewards of what God truly owns.  We are commanded to bring up our children in the admonition of the Lord."
Psalms 127:1 "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord".
Eph 6:4  Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
See Gen 18:19, Deut 4:9, Deut 6:6-7, Deut 11:19-21, Ps 78:5-8

11)  Ron Paul claims the federal governement should get out of education
http://www.ronpaullibrary.org/document.php?id=79
Public education has been used by liberals to create a world in their image.  John Dewey saw government schools as the vehicle to bring about socialism.
See Dan 1:3-5, 1Sam8 for what state education can lead to.

12)  Ron Paul will restore the First amendment protections of religious
free speech.

No need to worry about NAU or NWO Conspiracies

Fear God, instead:
Isaiah 8:12-13
12 "Do not call conspiracy
everything that these people call conspiracy ;
do not fear what they fear,
and do not dread it.

13 The LORD Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
he is the one you are to fear,
he is the one you are to dread,

The Beast of Revelation and the accompanying 666 is past.  It was Nero who would use burning Christians as lamp-posts to light streets.  Tacitus testifies that Nero ..." inflicted unheard of punishments on those who, detested for their abominable crimes, were vulgarly called Christians"(Annals 15.44).   Josephus reports that as a prelude to the temple's destruction (the time of the Gentiles taking in 3 and 1/2 years), lightning and thunderous storms with utmost violence (Wars 4.4.5)....The Romans denuded the land of trees, setting them on fire(Wars 5.12.4) Vespasian set surrounding villages on fire (Wars 3.4.1) .  When the temple burns, Josephus reports it was seething hot (Wars 6.5.1).  Jews turned to barbarism (Wars 5.1.1), so that women and the elderly were looking for deliverance from the Romans.  And during the wars Josephus reports over a million was killed (even if it was tens of thousands).  The Idumean and Zealot revolt left thousands dead in and around the temple.  Josephus reports of the conquering Romans disgust over mothers who were cooking their own children ..... a horrendous period which culminated with the abomination of desolation....Romans setting their standards within what was left of the temple.  It was the end of an era....the end times of the Old Covenant, and the judgement of the Lord who had used the Roman army as his tool of punishment on those who had rejected His Messiah.

Consider the nearness of end times events to the biblical writers:

Rev 1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must **soon** take place.

Rev 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because **the time is near**.

Rev 1:9 I, John, your brother and **fellow partaker in the tribulation** and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

1Pet4:7 **The end of all things is near**.

Heb 1:2 **but in these last days** he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

Matt 16:28 "I tell you the truth, some **who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom**."

1Cor10:11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the **fulfillment of the ages has come**.

2Thess2:7 For the **secret power of lawlessness is already at work;** but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way

James 5:8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is **near**.

1John2:18 Dear children, **this is the last hour**; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how **we know it is the last hour**.

Conclusion:  Even if there is a new world order coming, it is nothing to fear for those who love and serve God.  The other important conclusion is that the beast of Revelation is no more.  Those who speculate that there is a NAU coming based on their newspaper exegesis of Scripture, are just plain wrong.
